Delete a household

Deleting a household removes its personal information. The buttons to do it in the app and on the website are not built yet.

Ask today

Email support@loelia.app from the household email and ask to delete the household. Say the household name so we can find the right one.

TODO: when the website account page exists, this page will say to use Delete household there. It will stay plain text, with no link to that page. The in-app path is also not built yet.

What deletion does

The decided rule is:

• We delete the household’s personal information, events, profiles, linked-calendar tokens, and feeds.
• We keep a bare record that the household existed: its ID, a deleted flag, and the date. Nothing personal.
• A tablet that was already signed in hears that the household was deleted, clears its local data, and returns to the demo calendar.
• Signing in to a deleted household fails.

Copies may remain in backups for up to 30 days. The privacy draft has the full sentence.
