The service

Loelia is a household wall calendar. The Android app is distributed on Google Play. The subscription is sold on the Loelia website, not inside the app and not by Google Play. Loelia is offered in the United States.

The company is Loelia Studio LLC, being formed in Texas. The filing is still pending.

TODO: street address once the LLC is filed. TODO: whether use from outside the United States is refused, or simply not offered.

The household account

One login covers one household. The adult who holds the account is responsible for everyone who uses it, including profiles marked Kids. Children do not get separate logins. You are responsible for keeping the password inside the household.

The tablet only signs in. Creating the household happens on the website. Website sign-up is not built yet.

Plans and prices

These are the prices decided so far. They are not on sale until website checkout exists.

• Base, yearly: $79 per year.
• Base, monthly: $8.99 per month.
• Loelia Assist: about $2.99 per month. The price is not final. Assist is an add-on. It is not required to use the calendar.

A free tester or family plan can be set by Loelia. It is not for sale.

TODO: the final Assist price, and whether Assist has a yearly price. TODO: sales tax. Texas tax on this kind of service needs an accountant. Prices above do not say whether tax is included.

How you pay

Card payments go through Stripe on the website. Stripe is not set up yet. It waits on the LLC, an EIN, and a bank account. Loelia does not take the card number. The tablet never shows a price and never takes a payment.

There is no Google Play subscription.

Trial, refund, and cancel

This section is not settled. Two written decisions disagree, and checkout does not exist yet, so neither promise is on sale.

• October 4: no free tier and no free trial. The yearly plan is paid up front, with a 30-day full refund if you ask. Canceling Assist stops the next payment. Assist keeps working until the end of the paid month.
• October 11, still open: a one-month trial with the card up front may replace that refund guarantee.

When billing exists, canceling Base is expected to run to the end of the period already paid. The screens for that are not built.

Loelia Assist and AI

Assist raises the household’s allowance for AI features. Those features send text or a photo to xAI. Results are not guaranteed accurate. You check a draft before it is saved. Maps, travel times, and weather can be wrong too.

Calendars you connect

You are responsible for the calendars, links, and teams you add, and for having the right to show them to your household.

An iCloud app-specific password can reach more of an Apple account than calendars. Loelia uses it for the calendars you pick. You can delete it at Apple any time. Two-way calendars can write changes back to iCloud.

Signing in with a Google account inside Loelia is not available yet.

Ending the account

You can ask us to delete the household. The buttons in the app and on the website are not built yet. The steps that exist today are on Delete a household. Deletion removes personal information from the live systems and can leave copies in backups for up to 30 days, as the privacy draft describes.

Acceptable use

Don’t try to break into another household, disrupt the service, or upload material you don’t have the right to store. Don’t use Loelia to harm someone.

The service can be wrong or unavailable

Loelia is software in testing. The calendar, alerts, maps, and AI drafts can be wrong, late, or unavailable. Don’t rely on Loelia as the only record of something that has to happen.

TODO: warranty disclaimer, liability cap, and any consumer-law limits a Texas lawyer requires. This draft does not invent those clauses.

Changes

We will post updates on this page.

Law

TODO: governing law and venue. Texas is the expected choice once Loelia Studio LLC exists. It is not decided in a signed document, and this draft does not choose it.
