Alerts

When an event’s alert is due, a large card fills the screen.

Tap Dismiss, or snooze it for 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Set the alert, and how loud it is, on the event: Urgent, Normal, or Quiet.

• Urgent repeats a sound until someone taps Dismiss or Snooze.
• Normal plays a chime once. The card still shows.
• Quiet is the card only, with no sound.

The alert rings on every tablet in the household. Dismiss or snooze on one tablet clears it on the others.

Quiet hours are a household setting, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM unless you change them in Household › Alerts. During quiet hours, Normal shows without sound. Urgent still rings. Any alert wakes a dimmed screen.

New events start at Normal. Change the level in the event’s form.
